"We just spent 6 nights and 7 days encountering some of the most beautiful scenery that Cancun has to offer. The resort was in a secluded location, yet close enough to enjoy all the commodities of the Cancun strip. Moon Palace was all-inclusive, and they meant all-inclusive. If you like being pampered, this is the place to go! Buffets and restaurants everywhere, pools, swim up bars. There was a variety of tastes: Mexican, Spanish, Asian, seafood, Continental, etc. The people that greeted you were more than happy to assist in any way they could. The walks on the beach and all the different tours you could take were just a small part of what this vacation experience could offer. Chichen Itza and Tulum were some of my favorites, and of course, Xcaret, where I swam with the Dolphins and floated down an underground river. And then there was the Jungle tour.
There is so much to do there; yet you could also do nothing and still come home feeling like you experienced a place of many treasures. I wanted to thank you for arranging our stay at the Moon Palace and for all the specialties that came with it. We took several tours during our stay. Two of the trips were on the "included" list and the others were extra, but well worth it. We went snorkeling at the second largest barrier reef in the world. I didn't realize this whole other world exists in the ocean. You can watch Discovery Channel all your life, but it doesn't become real until you experience it for yourself. Xcaret ecological park was awesome. My favorite part was floating down the underground river. It was exciting, yet relaxing at the same time. That was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. Visiting the Mayan ruins and experiencing the interesting architecture and design was a treasure unto itself. We climbed the ninety-one stairs to the top of the highest pyramid at Chichen Itza. It was breathtaking at the top, to say the least. From there, you could view the rest of the ancient Mayan city.
